A short stop in Maska The Village

On our way to the Oldest Dragon tree (Dracaena draco) we visited to Maska the village. It was a short stop lasting for about fifteen or twenty minutes. Our taxi cab stopped at an edge of a road with a historic core of the village under it.

The road leading to Maska the village resembled a mad loop-the-loop with a lot of steep climbs up and sharp turns. But our taxi driver was calm absolutely and he managed driving his car with no troubles.

When we got out of the taxi first I had to find a hidden place to make water.I was successful in it and then a while later I could concentrate on the village and its surroundings. We crossed over the road. There was a slanted pavement going down to the historic part of the village on the opposite side of the road.

Because our time was limited we decided not to step down to the village. We decided to stay in the stretch above its historic center and to spent the short time with a smoking pause and photographing everything what we could see from our place.

I know nothing about the village. I can depict what I saw only.You can find more information of it yourself. So why did you went to it? you can ask. Well, I can answer to this question. One friend of my son recommended a visit of the place to him because he had visited himself to it a time before. Besides, we went to Maska from Los Gigantes where we absolved a sea trip. As our motor boat was returning to the coast it was passing by a high cliff with a near small bay and the captain of the boat meant it in a connection with Maska. Its villagers had had their boats in the bay.The two reasons led to the decision to see the place.

Volné vzpomínky na Tenerife

Krátká zastávka ve vesnici Maska

Cestou k nejstaršímu dračinci (Dracaena draco) jsme navštívili vesničku Maska. Byla to krátká zastávka trvající asi patnáct či dvacet minut. Taxík zastavil na okraji silnice s historickým jádrem vesničky pod ní.

Obr.7: Tato osada se nacházela ve svahu nad vesničkou Maskou. Nepochybně je mnohem mladší
než tato historická atrakce. Rovněž můžete vidět silnici stoupající k ní od Masky. Silnice vyznačuje
pokračování naší další cesty taxíkem. Tenerife, srpen 2016. Pořízeno mým chytrým mobilem.

Silnice vedoucí do Masky připomínala šílený tobogan se spoustou strmých stoupání a ostrých zatáček. Ale taxíkář byl naprosto klidný a zvládal řízení svého vozu bez potíží.

Když jsme vystoupili z taxíku, nejdřív jsem musel vyhledat nějaké skryté místo, abych se odvodnil. Byl jsem v tom úspěšný, takže o chvíli později jsem se mohl soustředit na vesničku a její okolí. Přešli jsme silnici. Na opačné straně silnice byl kosý chodník, který se svažoval k historickému jádru vesnice.

Protože náš čas byl omezen, rozhodli jsme se do vesnice nesestupovat. Rozhodli jsme se setrvat nad jejím historickým středem a strávit ten krátký čas kuřáckou pauzou a focením všeho, co jsme ze svého místa mohli vidět.

Obr.10: Tohle foto jsem pořídil zatímco Masku opouštěli nějací turisté. Zdáí se, že Maska je spíše
muzeum než normální vesnička se svými obyvateli. Tenerife, srpen 2016. Pořízeno mým chytrým

O té vesnici nevím nic. Mohu popsat jen to, co jsem viděl. Více informací o ní si můžete vyhledat sami. Tak proč jste tam jeli? můžete se ptát. Na tuto otázku vám mohu odpovědět. Jeden synův přítel mu to místo doporučil, protože ho sám před nějakým časem navštívil. Navíc, jeli jsme do Masky z Los Gigantes, kde jsme absolvovali výlet na moři. Když se náš motorový člun vracel k pobřeží, proplouval kol vysokého útesu s úzkou malou zátokou. Kapitán člunu ji zmínil ve spojitosti s Maskou. Vesničané měli v zátoce své čluny. Tyhle dva důvody vedly k rozhodnutí to místo vidět.
