Vietnam from the North to the South on Catherine´s Photos (I)

Introduction
The Tired Hanoi

Catherine, one of my coworkers at my emloyment (we haven´t worked at the same ward but we´ve met each other unregulary in our common canteen in the time of dinners), visited to Vietnam in last months (February/March 2015) for some seventen days. Her journey had a travelling character, it began in the North of this interesting country and it was ended up in its South. The journey started in Hanoi, the capital city of the North Vietnam and it was ended up in Saigon, the capital city of the South Vietnam.
Catherine took a lot of pictures during her travelling across Vietnam from the North to the South and she was so kind that she shared them with me. Now there´s been a plenty of her pictures in my comp, too.

It occured to me to ask her for her permition to publish some of her photos taken in Vietnam in a free series of my posts here on the G+ and Catherine agreed with my project. So I thank her very much  for her kind permission and I hope she´ll be satisfied with my interpretations of her photos in my posts on the G+.

All this project is built on the Catherine´s photos and on my own free glosses to them. Mostly I´m going to improvise my associated texts. My texts will be undedicated ´cause I have never been in Vietnam so far. From time to time the Catherin´s photos can evoke some thoughts in my brain. I can write them in and by this way all my posts devoted to Vietnam will be realized gradually.

When I attended the elementary school we learnt in the world geography that there were two Vietnams in Asia: The North and the South. The two countries had different politic characters. The northern Viets were our very good friends because their politic establishment was communist while the southern Viets had the capitalist regime. Vietnam has been divided into two ones in a politic way in Asia like Germany in Europe.

I haven´t studied the foreign politics in detail, I´ve perceived it very superficially only and in fact I´haven´t known what´s been the current situation between the two countries. So far I´ve heard no rumble of a falling wall reuniting the both countries as it were in the case of Germany. The both countries have still seemed to be separated from each other.

As we can see on the fig.1 capturing one of the Hanoi´s ordinary streets the capital city of the Red Vietnam appeares to have a dirty and sad appearance. Maybe the mopeds and the scooters parking in the street come from Czech republic. There was a great boom of the red Viets in my country in the seventies of the past century. They could study and work here, they could get new experiences, knowledge and skills here for several years. After their comebacks to their country they could make use of them. Mostly they liked buying our scooter named Babetta and they transported it to their native home. Our people observed their passion for Babetta with amused and arrogant smiles and they made jokes about their obsession.

Vietnam od severu po jih na Kateřininých fotkách (I)

Úvod
Unavená Hanoj

Kateřina, jedna z mých spolupracovnic v zaměstnání (nepracujeme na stejném oddělení, ale nepravidelně se potkáváme v čase obědů ve společné závodní jídelně) navštívila v posledních měsících (únor/březen 2 015) Vietnam na sedmnáct dní. Její pouť měla cestovní charakter, začala na severu této zajímavé země a byla ukončena na jejím jihu. Cesta začala v Hanoji, hlavním městě Severního Vietnamu, a skončila v Saigonu, metropoli Jižního Vietnamu.

Kateřina během svého putování napříč Vietnamem pořídila spoustu obrázků a byla tak laskavá, že se o ně se mnou podělila. Teď je také přehršle jejích obrázků v mém kompu. Napadlo mne požádat ji o svolení zveřejnit některé z jejích fotek pořízených ve Vietnamu v jakési volné sérii příspěvků tady na G+ a Kateřina s mým projektem souhlasila. Za její laskavé svolení jí moc děkuji a doufám, že bude s interpretací svých snímků v mých příspěvcích na G+ spokojena.

Celý tento projekt je postaven na Kateřininých fotkách a na mých vlastních volných glosách k nim. Vesměs hodlám své průvodní texty improvizovat. Mé texty budou nezasvěcené, protože jsem zatím ve Vietnamu nikdy nebyl. Čas od času mohou Kateřininy fotky v mém mozku evokovat nějaké myšlenky. Mohu je zapisovat a takto budou postupně realizovány všechny mé příspěvky věnované Vietnamu.

Když jsem chodil na základku, ve světovém zeměpise jsme se učili, že v Asii existují dva Vietnamy. Severní a Jižní. Obě země měly odlišný politický charakter. Severní Vietnamci byli naši velice dobří přátelé, zatímco Jižní Vietnamci měli kapitalistický režim. Vietnam byl v Asii politicky rozdělen ve dva  jako SRN v Evropě.

Zahraniční politiku nestuduji podrobně, vnímám ji jen velmi povrchně a vlastně nevím, jaký je mezi oběma zeměmi současný stav. Až dosud jsem neslyšel žádný rachot padající zdi znovusjednocující obě země, jak tomu bylo v případě Německa. Zdá se, že obě země jsou od sebe navzájem nadále odděleny.

Jak můžeme vidět na obr.1, který zachycuje jednu z obyčejných hanojských ulic, zdá se, že hlavní město Rudého Vietnamu má špinavý a smutný vzhled. Možná, že mopedy a skútry parkující v té ulici pocházejí z České republiky. V sedmdesátých letech minulého století byl v mé vlasti velký boom rudých Vietnamců. Mohli tady studovat a pracovat, mohli zde několik let získávat nové zkušenosti, znalosti a dovednosti. Po návratu do své země je mohli využívat. Povětšinou rádi kupovali náš skútr Babettu a dopravovali ji do své rodné země. Naši lidé pozorovali jejich vášeň pro Babettu s pobavenými a povýšenými úsměvy a o jejich posedlosti žertovali.
