The Mankind in the Uterus


Our mezo-world, the world of our senses, has been somehow swept under the carpet woven from the invisible knowledge of the micro-world and the macro-world.
The discovers of the big mammals living on our planet have been almost exhausted. Some discover of a new mammalian species has still become rarer and rarer. All the big mammalian species have been described. The main crop of the discovers of new big animals and plants in our mezo-world has been harvested. Yeah, there have still remained some their rests to be found: the Snow man from Himalayas, the Nessy from the Loch Ness in Scotland, the Olgoj Chorchoj from Mongolia, the Man eating tree from Madagascar etc. but, unfortunately, they´ve still been staying in the realm of our fantasy only.

Since the invention of the microscope we´ ve known that there has been the huge realm of the diminutive plant and animal organisms in our mezo-world as well as within us ourselves. Due to the microscope we´ve learnt that they´ve been present everywhere. Due to the microscope the scientists have discovered the smallest unite of the life, i.e. the cell. As the microscope has become better and better the researchers have been able to see the first structural and functional elements of the cell. This breakthrough to the micro-world has seemed to be the inexhaustible source of our knowledge. Just in the invisible micro-world we´ve still been finding many explanations of our own mezo-world.
The microscope has been the fruit of the physics or the fruit of the research on the optical phenomena.

Of course, a simple look into the micro-world by the microscope hasn´t been enaugh. Only to see hasn´t been enaugh. The seen has had to be explained in some way. The microscope has been the basic instrument only. There have been a lot of mistakes and wrong ideas than our knowledge have gotten the present form and still we haven´t  been able to exclude the possibility that many of our interpretations of the scientific knowledge have been true really. The theories haven´t been the whole facts about the reality of our world, they´ve been the most probable measures of our knowledge only.

When the first scientists have started to do the researches on the cell they´ve had to think out a lot of various procedures, methods, experiments and accesses than they´ve been able to interprete all the structures of the cell they´ve observed under the microscopes. First they´ve had to map and to name all the forms within the cell in the same way as an explorer has given his names to various places in some quite new country. First they´ve had to name and to describe the new. Therefore this has been the new land (the cell) and its terrain has been extremely colourful and full of many mysterious corpuscles the researchers have bombarded the brains of the ordinary people with still new names and findings. Many of them have been the constant parts of the textbooks from the elementary schools to the universities. Many of them have become the usual parts of our vocabularies. Many of us have never seen them on their own eyes and they´ve known them from many various mediated idealised pictures and schemes exclusively. Many of us have often perceived the DNA abbreviation in the mass media but only a small fragment of us has known what has been the real meaning of it. Besides the idealised colourful schemes have still been changing as the one discover has disproved the previous. We´ve often known words but we´ve hardly known their meanings or we´ve guessed and estimate them in a very misty way only. We´ve been losing in the deep forest of our own knowledge.

While we´ve tried to unravel the mysteries of the life and the matter in the depnesses of the micro-world in the same time we´ve tried to penetrate into the depnesses of the macro-world, the Universe.

Really, we´ve been like the cells in a phase of a kind of an embryonal development. Though we´ve still been able to represent our individualities we´ve become to be dependent on each other more and more. The portions of the present scientific knowledge have been so big that we haven´t been able to deal with them in an individual way. We´ve been forced to specialize ourselves in various special activities, we´ve been forced to form something like the specialized tissues of our own bodies. This way the mankind has been forming a kind of the organism of the higher order able to face and to process or to absorb all the new information to the partial benefits of each of its individual persons at least.
It´s easy to find a plenty of analogies between the body of the mankind and the human body in their embryonal developments. From my point of view the mankind has been nothing more than a thinking embryo in its own development. Each of us has been its part whether we´ve liked it or not. Maybe the mankind, the thinking embryo, if we´ve accepted this idea, has been realizing its development in the uterus of the Universe. The Universe which we´ve found ourselves in has been our uterus or the uterus of the thinking embryo. If it has been so then the Earth has been our placenta. Just our Earth has been the bloody pie providing all the basic needs for the optimal development of the thinking embryo.

Surely, the said above is only an abstract parable to express my abstract idea of the mankind´s trends as I´ve seen them. It is difficult to answer to the questions following from it, if we take this claims in a litteral way. For example: If our Universe is a kind of our uterus then isn´t it mean that our Universe is a female?
Or: If we´re a kind of an embryo what will the time of our birth be? And: Where will we find ourselves to after our birth?
I know no answers to the questions, ´cause this is a simple parable only. The parables help me to express my impressions and thoughts.They help me to show how something appears to be to me.

I use the parable of "the mankind in the uterus" because I want to express how it is difficult to us to see something more than the near Universe, how it is hard to us to see something more beyond our Solar system with our limited abilities. We have no lookout to view of the whole Universe, mostly we have only indirect ways how to accomplish glimpses of it at least. Mostly we have only speculative ideas of the age and the origin of the Universe and the same holds true of the depnesses of the matter.
The deeper we´ve penetrated into the matter the more misty picture we´ve gotten.
I´ve still been trying to grasp something from the most modern knowledge of the Universe and of the matter and to insert it in our mezo-world with the clearly defined parameters.
The tree itself is the tree. I can look at it, I can touch it, I can perceive its smell, I can perceive it with all my senses, I can climb up its branches and see my surroundings from above. I can learn how it is tall, how it is wide, I can observe its curiosities..........
Due to the sciences I may know (but I needn´t know it at all, it depends on your level of the education) that the photosynthesis is occuring  in the tree´s leaves. I may know something of its key compounds able to make use of the light, I may know the P. Mitchell ´s chemical-osmotic theory explaining the way how the photosynthesis works. I can see the tree´s flowers and I may know its botanical name, I may know its botanical relatives, I may imagine the plant hormones circulating in its body but I can´t know all this by the merit of my senses. The only way how I can know all this is to study, to learn and to try to understand with the help of all the past, present as well as futurous explorers, discoverers or researchers.
On the one hand there´s my own sensual experience and on the other hand there´s the huge collective consciousness, the myriads of information from other people whether they´ve been alive or dead. Each of us has been living in this human medium from one´s birth.

There´s a book in my hand on my picture above. It symbolizes the virtual perceiving things around us, all the knowledge we´ve gotten from other people.

Lidstvo v děloze

Náš mezo-svět, svět našich smyslů, je jaksi zametán pod koberec utkaný z neviditelných znalostí o mikro a makrosvětě.
Objevy velkých savců žijících na naší planetě jsou téměř vyčerpány. Objev nového savčího druhu je pořád vzácnější a vzácnější. Všechny velké savčí druhy jsou už popsány. Hlavní úroda objevů nových velkých živočichů a rostlin v našem mezo-světě je už sklizena. Jo, pořád zbývá objevit nějaké jejich zbytky: sněžného muže z Himalájí, Nessy z jezera Loch Ness ve Skotsku, olgoje chorchoje z Mongolska, lidožravý strom z Madagaskaru atd., ale, bohužel, ti nadále pobývají jen v říši naší fantazie.

Od vynálezu mikroskopu víme, že v našem mezo-světě a také v nás samých existuje ohromná říše nepatrných rostlinných a živočišných organizmů.  Díky mikroskopu zjišťujeme, že jsou všudypřítomné. Díky mikroskopu objevili vědci nejmenší jednotku života, tj. buňku. Jak se mikroskop pořád zdokonaloval, badatelé mohli spatřit první strukturní a funkční prvky buňky. Tento průlom do mikro-světa se zdá být nevyčerpatelným zdrojem našich vědomostí. Právě v neviditelném světě stále nacházíme mnohá vysvětlení našeho mezo-světa.
Mikroskop je plodem fyziky či plodem výzkumu optických jevů.

Samozřejmě, že prostý pohled do mikro-světa pomocí mikroskopu nestačí. Nestačí jen vidět. Viděné musí být nějak vysvětleno. Mikroskop je jen základní přístroj. Než naše znalosti dostaly současnou formu, došlo ke spoustě omylů a chybných představ a přesto nemůžeme vyloučit možnost, že mnohé z našich výkladů vědeckých poznatků jsou skutečně pravdivé. Teorie nejsou úplná fakta o realitě našeho světa, jsou jen nejpravděpodobnějšími mírami našeho vědění.

Když první vědci začali zkoumat buňku, museli vymýšlet spousty různých postupů, metod, pokusů a přístupů, než mohli vykládat všechny ty buněčné struktury, které pozorovali pod mikroskopy. Nejdřív museli zmapovat a pojmenovat všechny ty formy v buňce stejně jako cestovatel pojmenovává rozmanitá místa v nějaké zcela nové krajině. Nejdřív to nové museli pojmenovat a popsat. Protože tohle je nová zem (buňka) a její terén je pestrobarevný a plný mnoha tajemných tělísek, badatelé bombardují mozky obyčejných lidí stále novými názvy a nálezy. Mnohé z nich jsou stálou součástí učebnic od základních škol po univerzity. Mnohé z nich se stávají běžnou součástí naší slovní zásoby. Mnozí z nás je nikdy nespatřili na vlastní oči a znají je výhradně z mnoha zprostředkovaných idealizovaných obrázků a schémat. Mnozí z nás často vnímají zkratku DNA v médiích, ale jen malý zlomek z nás ví, jaký je její skutečný význam.

Zatímco se pokoušíme odhalovat záhady života a hmoty v hlubinách mikrosvěta, zároveň se snažíme pronikat do hlubin makrosvěta, vesmíru.

Skutečně jsme jako buňky ve fázi jakéhosi embryonálního vývoje. I když jsme stále schopní reprezentovat své individuality, stále více se na sobě stáváme závislými. Porce současného vědeckého poznání jsou tak ohromné, že se s nimi nedokážeme vyrovnávat individuálně. Jsme nuceni specializovat se na rozmanité speciální činnosti, jsme nuceni vytvářet cosi jako specializované tkáně našeho vlastního těla. Takto lidstvo vytváří jakýsi organizmus vyššího řádu schopný čelit a zpracovávat či vstřebávat veškeré nové informace alespoň k částečnému prospěchu každé z jeho jednotlivých osob.
Je snadné nacházet spoustu obdob mezi tělem lidstva a lidským tělem v jejich embryonálních vývojích. Z mého pohledu není lidstvo nic víc než myslící embryo ve vlastní ontogenezi. Každý z nás je jeho součástí, ať se nám to líbí či ne. Možná, že lidstvo, myslící embryo, pokud tuto představu přijímáme, uskutečňuje svůj vývoj v děloze vesmíru. Vesmír, v němž se nacházíme, je naší dělohou či dělohou myslícího embrya. Je-li to tak, potom Země je naší placentou. Právě naše Země je tím krevním koláčem, který pro optimální vývoj myslícího embrya zajišťuje všechny základní potřeby.

Jistě, výše řečené je pouhým příměrem k vyjádření mé představy o trendech lidstva, jak je vidím. Je obtížné odpovídat na otázky, které z něj vyplývají, bereme-li tato tvrzení doslovně. Například: Je-li náš vesmír jakousi naší dělohou, neznamená to pak, že náš vesmír je ženského pohlaví?
Nebo: Jsme-li jakýmsi embryem, jaký bude čas našeho zrodu? A: Kde se po porodu ocitneme?
Neznám odpovědi na tyto otázky, protože tohle je jen jednoduché přirovnání. Přirovnání mi pomáhají vyjádřovat mé pocity a myšlenky. Pomáhají mi ukázat, jak se mi něco jeví.

Používám příměr "lidstvo v děloze", protože chci vyjádřit, jak je pro nás obtížné vidět něco víc než blízký vesmír, jak je pro nás těžké vidět něco víc mimo naši sluneční soustavu s našimi omezenými schopnostmi. Nemáme žádnou rozhlednu, abychom přehlédli celý vesmír, máme většinou jen nepřímé způsoby, jak dosahovat alespoň jeho letmých zahlédnutí. O stáří a původu vesmíru máme vesměs jen spekulativní představy a totéž platí také o hlubinách hmoty. Čím více do hmoty pronikáme, tím mlhavější obraz dostáváme. Stále se snažím pochopit něco z nejmodernějších poznatků o vesmíru a o hmotě a vkládat to do našeho mezo-světa s jasně definovanými parametry.
Strom jako takový je strom. Mohu se na něj dívat, mohu se ho dotýkat, mohu vnímat jeho pach, mohu ho vnímat všemi svými smysly, mohu šplhat do jeho větvoví a vidět okolí shora. Mohu zjišťovat, jak je vysoký, jak je široký, mohu pozorovat jeho zvláštnosti.........
Díky vědám snad mohu vědět (ale vědět to vůbec nemusím, to závisí na úrovni vašeho vzdělání), že v listech toho stromu probíhá fotosyntéza. Snad mohu vědět něco o jejích klíčových látkách schopných využívat světla, mohu znát chemiosmostickou teorii P. Mitchella, která vysvětluje, jak fotosyntéza funguje. Mohu vidět květy toho stromu a snad znát jeho botanický název, mohu znát jeho botanické příbuzné, mohu si představovat rostlinné hormony kolující v jeho těle, avšak tohle vše nemohu vědět zásluhou vlastních smyslů. Jediný způsob, jak to všechno mohu vědět je studovat, učit se a pokoušet se chápat s pomocí všech těch minulých, současných a také budoucích badatelů, objevitelů či výzkumníků. 
Na jedné straně je má vlastní smyslová zkušenost a na druhé straně ohromné kolektivní vědomí, myriády informací od jiných lidí, ať žijících či mrtvých. Každý z nás žije v tomto lidském médiu od svého zrodu.
