How I didn´t see Mona Lisa in original

Yes, one of the most famous pictures painted by Leonardo da Vinci, the Italian Renaissance painter, scientist and inventor. So many times I´ve already seen its reproductions in books, movies, on posters, in newspapers. So many times I´ve heard about it. But I´ve never seen its original in the place where it has been displayed. As it has been known notoriously the place has been The Parish Louvre.
And so one of our first ways led to this Gallery.

We went to there by the Parish metro and the way took a while only. If I remember it well the exit from the metro stop has been connected with a spaceous passage continuously. The passage has been roofed and has led directly to The Louvre. Almost you´d say that you´re still in the metro.

As we´re passing through the huge passage with a high ceiling soon we´re walking along one or two very long fronts full of visitors of various sorts. The Japanese tourists were seen in them very often, indeed as it was in other fronts too we met during our stay in Paris. I think that the Japanese tourists armed with the colourful high tech productions (mobiles, tablets, Ipods etc.) have belonged to the most patient components in these long snakes creeping like snails to their wishful goals.

It wasn´t the right couple of our tea. We had no time to stand out some of the terrible fronts. For the last time I looked around the huge hall. I recall the upside-down pyramid. It has installed in the centre of the hall near to the Gallery of Louvre and again I´ve evoked to myself the adjoining luxurious shops with luxurious goods, their huge entrances and show windows, nothing for the people with a wind in their pockets........and a lot of people freely walking around.

My son thought out another alternative and me and Vendy promptly agreed with it. We headed for the Museum of August Rodin not so far from the Louvre by walk. So far this has been my greatest chance to see the Leonardo´s Mona Lisa in original in my own eyes. Never mind, maybe, one day I´ll try it again. The hope has been dying for the last time.

Jak jsem neviděl Monu Lízu v originále

Ano, jeden z nejslavnějších obrazů od Leonarda da Vinciho, italského renesančního malíře, vědce a vynálezce. Tolikrát už jsem viděl jeho reprodukce v knihách, filmech, na plakátech, v novinách. Tolikrát jsem o něm slyšel. Ale nikdy jsem nespatřil jeho originál v místě, kde je vystavován. Jak je notoricky známé, tím místem je pařížský Louvre. A tak jedna z našich prvních cest vedla do této Galerie.

Jeli jsme tam paříšským metrem a cesta trvala jen chvilku. Jestli si to dobře pamatuji, výstup ze zastávky metra je nepřerušovaně spojen s prostornou pasáží. Ta pasáž vede přímo k Louvre. Skoro byste řekli, že jste pořád v metru.

Jak jsme tou obrovskou pasáží s vysokým stropem procházeli, brzy jsme kráčeli podél jedné či dvou dlouhých front plných návštěvníků různých typů. Velmi často se v nich vyskytovali japonští turisté, ostatně, jak tomu bylo také v jiných frontách, které jsme během pobytu v Paříži potkali. Myslím, že japonští turisté vyzbrojení pestrými high tech produkty (mobily, tablety, Ipody etc.) patří k nejtrpělivějším složkám v těchto dlouhých hadech ploužících se jako slimáci ke svým vytouženým cílům.

Nebyl to náš šálek čaje. Na vystávání některé z těch hrozných front jsme neměli čas. Naposledy jsem se rozhlédl po ohromné hale.Vzpomínám na obrácenou pyramidu. Je instalována uprostřed haly poblíž Galerie Louvre a znovu si vybavuji sousedící luxusní obchody s luxusním zbožím, jejich obrovské vstupy a výklady.....nic pro lidi s větrem v kapsách.........a spousty volně se procházejících lidí.

Syn vymyslel druhou alternativu a já s Vendym jsme s ní ihned souhlasili. Zamířili jsme k Muzeu Augusta Rodina nedaleko od Louvre po svých. Tohle byla prozatím moje největší šance ke spatření Leonardovy Mony Lízy v originále na vlastní oči. Nevadí, možná to jednou zkusím znovu. Naděje umírá naposledy.
