On The Forepart and On Our Way

If you imagine that Madeira is a splendid big ship anchored in the Atlantic ocean´s waves then maybe it is not so difficult to see me on this picture like its captain Achab watching a horizon with his binocular from its forepart.
In reality, this wraparound picture was taken by my son Robert with his smart phone. He took it from the entrance of our apartment into the roofed veranda without I guessed anything.
Again my Moby Dick did not appear.

What to add to the Fig.2? Then we were heading for a small port, its name was Porto Moniz (the north west coast of the island). From time to time Vendy stopped the car so that we could look around the landscape anywhere we found it to be interesting and worthy of photographing.

Na přídi a na cestě

Když si představíte, že Madeira je nádherná velká loď ukotvená ve vlnách Atlantiku, pak snad není tak obtížné představit si mne jako kapitána Achaba, který z její přídě pozoruje dalekohledem obzor.
Ve skutečnosti pořídil tento panoramatický obrázek syn Robert svým chytrým mobilem od vstupu z našeho apartmá na zastřešenou verandu, aniž bych cokoliv tušil.
Můj Moby Dick se zase neobjevil.

Co dodat k obr.2? Tehdy jsme mířili do jednoho malého přístavu, jmenoval se Porto Moniz (SZ pobřeží ostrova). Venda občas auto zastavil, abychom se mohli porozhlédnout po krajině kdekoliv jsme ji shledali zajímavou a hodnou fotografování.
