A While with Einstein
Before a time I and my son debated about the cosmology: Is The Universe endless? And if no, what is behind it, any other space? Or nothing? But if there´s nothing, then does our Universe hover in nothing? In fact, what is nothing? We usually use the word ´nothing´ without meaning the absolute nothing. For example: When we ask somebody "bring me the thing from the table", he or she replies "there is nothing on the table", ´couse the object isn´t there. This is what I call the relative nothing. There isn´t only the asked thing on the table.
And how was The Universe created? From nothing, too? From the absolute, total nothing? How could it be possible? From nothing to something? And what about the rule of the preservation of matter and energy? Well, then does this mean that the matter and energy have always existed, that they have had no beginning? Unfortunately, our secular experience haven´t showed anything like that. Or simply somewhat we don´t know, we can´t understand. We´ve been like flies bumping against window glass again and again unable to get the idea that next to the glass is a free space.......
Naturally, as we were talking about this topic our talk turned to Albert Einstein, Steven Hawking, Max Planck and the other great scientists whose discovers have helped to know more. In that time of the talking I got an idea. Then I´ve already drawn regulary. If a man can´t know anything or he can´t do anything, he can do it in his imagination. The idea was as follows:Why on Earth could not I draw as me and my son were sitting and talking to Albert Einstein?! Impossible in reality, but in fantasy with no problems if you can draw a bit.
We kept talking about our theme for a time and then we went to bed. But the idea remained in my head.
And after several days the idea became mature. This is how the picture (within The "Scientists" subcycle), the idea, came in reality.
This was the first phase of its origin in my brain. When I began to work with pencils on a piece of paper, it was the second phase.
I think I needn´t introduce the man in the centre of the picture, but I must introduce myself and my son to you. So who is who? You can see me to the right and my son to the left. Two notes to my own drawing the picture. First I drew figures and then I had to face the question: What about the context for the figures? In the first time I had no idea. For a while the context were getting cocrete simple contours: Height, Widht, Lenght and Time. The second note is that when I drew myself, I did four fingers of my right hand stretched while my little finger remained bent. I looked at it and didn´t know why I drew it so. First I thought it was done in this way my right hand to be more active, but when the context was done I found it as a symbol for the 4D space. As if I were saying: "Well, Mr. Einstein, so you claim that our space has four dimensions" and in the same time I´m calculating them with the help of my fingers. I´m sure that I didn´t draw the fingers in this way consciously but rather subconsciously.
Chvilka s Einsteinem
Před časem jsem se synem debatoval o kosmologii: Je vesmír nekonečný? A když ne, co je za ním, nějaký další prostor? Nebo nic? Ale jestli tam nic není, pak se náš vesmír vznáší v ničem? Co je vlastně nic? Obvykle používáme slovo ´nic´, aniž bychom mínili absolutní nic. Například, když někoho požádáme "podej mi tu věc ze stolu", odpoví nám "na stole nic není", protože tam ten předmět není. Tomu říkám relativní nic.Na stole není pouze žádaná věc.
A jak byl vesmír vytvořen? Také z ničeho? Z absolutního, naprostého ničeho? Jak by to mohlo být možné? Z ničeho něco? A co zákon o zachování hmoty a energie? Dobrá, znamená to tedy, že hmota a energie existovaly vždycky, že nemají žádný počátek? Bohužel, naše světská zkušenost nevykazuje nic podobného. Nebo prostě tak nějak nevíme, nedokážeme chápat. Jsme jako mouchy, které narážejí na okenní sklo zas a zas a nedokáže je napadnout, že vedle skla je volný prostor......
Přirozeně, jak jsme na to téma diskutovali, náš hovor se stočil na Alberta Einsteina, Stevena Hawkinga, Maxe Plancka a jiné velké vědce, jejichž objevy přispěly poznat víc. V době hovoru jsem dostal nápad. Tehdy jsem už kreslil pravidelně. Když člověk nemůže něco poznat nebo nemůže něco provést, může to udělat ve své představivosti. Ten nápad byl takový: Co mi brání, že bych nemohl nakreslit, jak se synem sedíme a povídáme si s Albertem Einsteinem? Reálně nemožné, ale ve fantazii bez problémů, když umíte trochu kreslit.
Pokračovali jsme v povídání na naše téma nějakou dobu a pak jsme šli spát. Ten nápad mi ale zůstal v hlavě. Po několika dnech myšlenka uzrála. Takto se obrázek (v podcyklu "Vědci"), ten nápad, zrealizoval.
Tohle byla první fáze jeho vzniku v mém mozku. Když jsem začal pracovat s tužkami na kousku papíru, to byla druhá fáze.
Myslím, že Vám nemusím představovat muže ve středu obrázku, ale musím Vám představit sebe a syna. Takže, kdo je kdo? Mě vidíte napravo a syna nalevo. Dvě poznámky k mému vlastnímu kreslení obrázku. První jsem nakreslil osoby a pak jsem musel čelit otázce: Co kontext pro postavy? Zprvu mě nic nenapadalo. Po chvíli kontext dostal konkrétní prosté obrysy: Výšku, Šířku, Délku a Čas. Druhá poznámka je ta, že když jsem kreslil sebe, udělal jsem čtyři prsty na své pravé ruce natažené, zatímco malíček zůstal ohnutý. Díval jsem se na to a nevěděl, proč jsem to tak nakreslil. Nejdřív jsem myslel, že to tak bylo uděláno, aby moje pravá ruka byla aktivnější, ale po dokončení kontextu mi to připadlo jako symbol pro 4D prostor. Jako kdybych říkal: "Dobře, pane Einsteine, takže vy tvrdíte, že náš prostor má čtyři rozměry" a zároveň je vypočítávám pomocí prstů. Jsem si jistý, že jsem ty prsty nekreslil takto vědomě, ale spíše podvědomě.
